Job Duties: The Ottumwa Public Library is seeking a part time custodian. The custodian will be responsible for cleaning a large public building including- daily cleaning of restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, keeping a current inventory of the cleaning products, and general upkeep of the grounds.
Qualifications: Must be a self-starter and a hard worker. Must have good communication skills and patron relations and be able to lift up to 60 lb. Must be able to submit to a background test, physical and drug screening.
Compensation: The wage is $11.43-$14.62/hour based on experience and qualifications, plus we offer an excellent benefits package. This is a 20 hour/week position with most hours being before and after library business hours.
