Book Title: The Book Thief
Author: Markus Zusak
Star Rating: 4/5 Stars
Review: Zusak’s writing in this novel is really in-depth and shows very deep emotion through the main character, Liesel Meminger. Death, the narrator, gives a very different and distinct perspective in the story which makes it different and more interesting.

Book Title: Rootless
Author: Chris Howard
Star Rating: 4/5 Stars
Review: Because it was so detailed and it made me feel like I was there and went through what they went through.

Book Title: Descendants 2
Author: Eric Geron
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: Because Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay. They may be the children of terrible villains but they’re fitting in amazingly well on Auradon. Well, at least most of them are. She returns to her rotten roots.

Book Title: Deadtime Stories’ Invasion of the Appleheads
Author: Annette and Gina Cascone
Star Rating: 3/5 Stars
Review: I chose 3 stars because it does not give much background information and it sometimes skips around.

Book Title: Since You’ve Been Gone
Author: Morgan Matson
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: This book is absolutely my favorite. It’s about a girl (Emily) who makes friends while she completes a list, hopefully leading her to find her missing best friend (Sloane). I feel as though I’d do the same. Throughout the story, the girl continuously leaves her comfort zone. It’s a great story of mystery and adventure. I can truly relate to the main character.

Author: Eoin Colfer
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: The protagonist pulls off a magnificent and funny heist to retrieve what was stolen by the antagonist.

Book Title: Artemis Fowl
Author: Eoin Colfer
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: The plot isn’t necessarily complicated and the characters are likeable. There is also some very cool technology that the main characters use.

Book Title: Paper Towns
Author: John Green
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: I feel this way because it does a good job showing that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. It tells you about how you should live your life to the fullest and it had lots of suspense.

Book Title: One of Us Is Lying 
Author: Karen McManus
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: It’s a mystery in school about a boy who was killed and for others who were witnesses in the act. I feel this way because I felt like it was an eye catching book.

Book Title: Blue Moon
Author: Alyson Noel
Star Rating: 4/5 Stars
Review: This is a book that includes love, mystery and some suspense. I like this book because it shows one of the characters, Ever Bloom, fighting to save her boyfriend and the journey of her. Once you open this book to read, you won’t want to stop.

Book Title: The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue
Author: Mackenzi Lee
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: This is now one of my favorite books. I loved how the plot kept you guessing and entertained throughout the whole book. I also fell in love with all the characters. Overall, an incredible book.

Author: Gerard Way
Star Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: It was a little confusing in the beginning, but the further I read the more interesting it became.

Review: There were times when the plot was a little slow, but the story is also very good.

Review: Very thrilling. It also has some historical facts in the book. Plus it tells of many different adventures in the one time, especially when a child is about to be born.

Author: Alyson Noel

Review: As I started reading more into the book, I began to enjoy it more. It is slow, but has some wonderful mysteries written inside. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in romance and supernatural.

Review: It was a very interesting book and very enjoyable. It was also very exciting and kept me on the edge.

Review: The book was good enough for me to finish and it was easy to do so in one day.

Author: Eoin Colfer

Review: This was a fitting end to the Artemis Fowl series. It had plenty of action and stratagems, as well as some fun dialogue.
